Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson will remain at Bournemouth until the end of the season, the 23-year-old confirmed on Twitter.

The Cherries and Jurgen Klopp’s side agreed on a deal to extend his stay beyond the end of June.

Wilson has had an impressive campaign out on loan at the Vitality Stadium. He has scored seven times so far which is impressive, especially for a club who have struggled this term.

There has been a ton of speculation about Wilson’s future beyond his loan spell. Will he return to Liverpool as a first-team player or will he be sent out on loan again? He might well be sold too if Klopp doesn’t see a future for him at Anfield which would be a real shame.

Bournemouth will certainly be interested in signing him permanently if Liverpool’s asking price isn’t too much of a problem for them.

However, they will be glad that his immediate future is resolved and he will be available to Eddie Howe for their last nine games of the season.

Wilson claimed he was delighted to continue with Bournemouth for a few more weeks than what was initially planned.

Liverpool fans are glad that he is gaining experience down on the South Coast but they want to see him play in Red at Anfield next season.

Here’s how a few Liverpool fans respnded to Wilson’s tweet.
