According to The Mirror, Liverpool have enquired about Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.
The report has added that the former Aston Villa player would be tempted by the chance to play for Liverpool, who are on the verge of winning the Premier League title this season.
Stats
Traore joined Wolves from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £18 million.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old made eight starts and 21 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Wanderers last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
So far this season, the former Barcelona prospect has made 22 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for Nuno’s side, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Traore has also made five starts and three substitute appearances in the Europa League for Wolves this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Described as “powerful and explosive” by Wolves central defender Conor Coady on Sky Sports in April 2020, Traore would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool.
