The latest edition of ESPN’s ‘30 for 30’ documentary series on infamous cyclist Lance Armstrong has caused quite a stir, but where can you watch the drama unfold?

ESPN’s ‘30 for 30’ series has been an incredibly popular sports-documentary series ever since it premiered back in 2009.

The show is currently in its fifth ‘volume’, i.e. season which has so far covered NBA legend Dennis Rodman, the rivalry between MMA hall-of-Famers Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz and the life of NFL star Michael Vick.

Now, the most recent edition of the ‘30 for 30’ series focuses on the rise and fall of Lance Armstrong.

What is 30 for 30: Lance?

30 for 30: Lance is the latest edition in the ’30 for 30′ ESPN series of documentaries that takes a deeper look into the world’s most famous cyclist.

The documentary tells the story of Armstrong’s legendary rise to fame, winning seven straight Tour de France competitions and his battle with testicular cancer. It also details his fall from grace in the fallout of one of the sporting worlds most infamous doping scandals in history.

The two-part series is directed by Marine Zenovich and also features interviews with those who were close to Armstrong throughout his entire career as well as the cyclist himself.

“I can never be honest about this, because all of this goodness will come crashing down. I needed a nuclear meltdown, and I got it. I’m not going to lie to you, Marina. I’m going to tell you my truth.” – Lance Armstrong.

However, those around him are more sceptical about this documentary: “He’s very good at making sure he’s one step removed from true responsibility of his actions” said one interviewee. Another adds that she’s “going to be naturally sceptical of whatever Lance does or says.”
