We all love to treat ourselves every now and then, so when do Aldi release special buys? Let’s take a look when they hit shelves.
Over the course of the lockdown, we’ve all done our very best to try and keep busy and entertained.
With many being furloughed back in March when Boris Johnson made his pivotal statement, more time has been spent watching TV, cooking, gardening, exercising… you get the picture.
In his address, the PM informed us to shop for essentials as infrequently as possible, influencing how most of us have done the weekly shop.
For those of us who’ve been going to Aldi, the special buys section has been somewhat of a saving grace, adding a little excitement to the trip.
So, it’s worth knowing when new stock is added into the mix.
When do Aldi release special buys?
As highlighted by The Sun, special buys hit the shelves every Thursday at 8 am and also every Sunday at 10 am.
The middle aisle is always good for a browse and you never know what you might find there.
It’s important to know when they add new stock because it’s essentially run on a first-come, first-served logic. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
When there’s lots of stock remaining, however, you often see the products discounted to encourage more shoppers to branch out and give some of the items a try.
On the other hand, there’s something you should know…
Aldi special buys: Online range
If you’re keen to check out the retailer’s range of special buys but still want to limit the amount of trips you’re taking to the store, you can always go online.
You can browse the full range of special buys on the Aldi website.
In fact, it’s actually the best place to go! The earlier source notes that Aldi are currently only putting special buys which can be considered essential in stores, in attempts to limit customers visiting.
For examples, they may stock pushchairs in the range online, but such new offers won’t necessarily be available in stores.
