Jose Mourinho has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy to wrap up a deal for Maxime Lopez as soon as possible.
According to The Daily Star, Spurs are interested in the 22-year-old Marseille midfielder, who is valued at around £10 million.
And Estadio Deportivo have now reported that the Tottenham boss is a big fan of the diminutive midfielder.
The report has added that Mourinho has pushed the North London club for a ‘quick movement’ in regards to signing Lopez, amid uncertainty at Marseille right now.
Thing is, we’ve been led to believe that Tottenham don’t have a lot of money available right now, due to the global health crisis.
The Standard has previously reported that Mourinho might have to rely on loan signings and Bosmans when the transfer window opens.
So the prospect of Levy spending £10 million on Lopez might not be all that credible.
