Being a TikTok star means doing a lot of TikTok Challenges. There’s so many out there to choose from, and one of the biggest ones this year has been the Mugshot Challenge.

Popular TikTok stars and members of the Sway House Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler did the Mugshot Challenge back in April. Little did they know, just months later they would be arrested for real.

And now theres a load of confusion online as to which mughsots are the real police ones, and which are from the TikTok Challenge.

Even some news articles are getting it wrong!

Who are Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler?

Bryce Hall, 20, is a social media star and YouTuber with 3.8 million followers on Instagram and 7 million on TikTok, popular for his dance and challenge videos.

Jaden Hossler, 19, is also a TikTok star with a huge 6 million followers on the video sharing app.

Both are members of the Sway House, a collective of some of the biggest TikTok stars who all live together and film content in a California mansion.

Why were Bryce and Jaden arrested?

According to the Mail Online, Bryce and Jaden were both arrested and taken into custody on Monday morning in Texas for possession of Marijuana.

Hall was slapped with a “misdemeanour charge” and was “later released on $5,000 bail” say the Mail Online. Hossler was also charged with “marijuana possession” and a “second-degree felony charge” for possession of a “controlled substance in penalty group two”.

The TikTok Mugshot Challenge has become a reality

Bryce and Jaden both recently did a popular TikTok video called the Mugshot Challenge.

People take a fake mugshot, making it look as if they have just been arrested and upload it to TikTok.

Fans are finding it very ironic that the Mugshot Challenge which was filmed by both Bryce and Jaden as a joke has now become a reality.

One Twitter user wrote: “Wow Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler really took the mugshot challenge to a next level” alongside a picture of their real police mugshots.

Some people think the Challenge photos are their real mugshots!

And some people are getting really confused as to which mugshots are the real ones and which are from the TikTok challenge.

Even some media articles are getting it wrong. This Twitter use wrote: “Crying at bryce hall getting arrested and this article using the fake mugshot from his tiktok mugshot challenge and not his real mugshot” and screenshot an article from Journal on Snapchat.
