Netflix has a growing reputation for giving upcoming acting talent a chance to shine and the same can be said for Control Z’s Zion Moreno.

Netflix may be best known for its big-budget US drama series such as Stranger Things and The Witcher but in recent years, the content on Netflix has become much more diverse.

To help cater to various groups within its global audience, Netflix now offers up everything from docuseries and reality TV to Oscar-winning films and international TV series.

Control Z falls into the last of those categories and even highlights one of Netflix’s lesser-known traits, giving a chance to up and coming acting talent.

One of the prime examples of this in Control Z comes in the form of Zion Moreno but just what do we know about this new actress on the block?

According to French site Allociné, American-Mexican actress Zion was born on December 5th, 1992 and is currently 27 years old.

Zion Moreno: Films and TV

Unbelievably, Control Z is only Zion Moreno’s second acting role.

Her acting debut came in 2019’s K-12 where she appeared as the character Fleur.

Up next for Zion Moreno, she’s due to appear in the 2021 rebooted Gossip Girl series but at the time of writing, it’s not clear what role she’s slated to play.

Roles on Netflix and the new Gossip Girl series will surely propel Zion Moreno to becoming a household name and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

Until then, Control Z, featuring Zion Moreno, is available to stream now on Netflix after releasing on May 22nd.
