Okay, so it seems the Adrien Rabiot rumours regarding Arsenal are a little more credible now.
Calciomercato reported last week that the Gunners were keen on the controversial Juventus midfielder, who joined the Italian giants last summer.
Then again, links to Arsenal are nothing new for Rabiot, who has long been rumoured to be on the North London club’s radar.
But according to a report in France, they’re now in talks to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
According to Le 10 Sport, Arsenal have started negotiations with Juve in an effort to sign him.
Rabiot, who earns £225,000 per week in Turin, is said to have been transfer listed by the Serie A champions after a late return to Italy from France earlier this month, meaning that he had to quarantine for an additional two weeks before he could get back to training.
The report adds that the 24-year-old will ‘certainly’ cost more than £26.8 million.
Of course, being in talks doesn’t mean that he’s definitely going to Arsenal, but it’s a bit more concrete.
Having said that, HITC Sport wrote last week that Rabiot is unlikely to be a target for a disciplinarian like Mikel Arteta due to the attitude issues that have plagued his burgeoning career to date [Mundo Deportivo]
