Animal Crossing New Horizons has united over 11 million people during this difficult period of time and Nintendo have provided constant updates and events to keep the game feeling fresh and new. One of the latest events to have come about is an International Museum Day celebration in which you must complete a stamp rally to get some unique rewards by finding the locations of nine individual yellow pedestals.

There have been plenty of events in Animal Crossing New Horizons so far and there’ll be plenty more with Nintendo suggesting that they will continue to update their best-seller for two-to-three years. One of the prior events to have recently happened required players to complete a Maze, and the International Museum Day celebration isn’t all too different as it requires running about like a lunatic to eventually get unique rewards.

Below you’ll discover how to complete the stamp rally International Museum Day celebration and what rewards you’ll be given for finding the locations of all the yellow pedestals.

How long is the stamp rally in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

The stamp rally event in Animal Crossing New Horizons lasts until May 31st.

This means you only have just under two weeks to complete the International Museum Day celebration before it eventually finishes withering away.

Its duration is admittedly overkill as you should be able to complete the event rather quickly meaning it definitely shouldn’t take you any longer than a single day to finish.

How to start the Museum Day event in Animal Crossing New Horizons

You simply must speak to Blather to start the International Museum Day event in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Once you speak to Blather, the owl will begin chatting your ear off about International Museum Day and how he has conducted a stamp rally for you to complete.

He’ll tell you about how there’s three unique stamp points in each area of the museum (bar the art section), and he’ll entice you to participate by promising three unique prizes in return for your successful stamp hunting.

Where are the museum stamps in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

You can find the museum stamps for the Animal Crossing New Horizons stamp rally in the following areas:

  • Bug
  • Fossil
  • Fish

There are none to be found in the art section of the museum so you needn’t bother scurrying around there.

When looking in either the bug, fossil, or fish section of your museum, all you need to find are three yellow pedestals.

Once you’ve found one, all you need to do is approach it and press A to collect a stamp. There are nine yellow pedestals to find altogether and you don’t need to speak to Blather after locating all three in one area.

After you’ve collected all nine, all you need to do then is talk to Blather to collect your rewards. Just make sure to speak to him three times to collect all your prizes.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Museum event rewards

The Animal Crossing New Horizons rewards for completing the International Museum Day stamp rally event are as follows:

  • Special gold bug plaque
  • Special gold fish plaque
  • Special fossil gold plaque

And that wraps up everything you really need to know about the International Museum Day event.

The yellow pedestals aren’t overly difficult to find so you should be able to find all nine and complete the challenge in relatively quick fashion.
