Overwatch is one of the biggest and most popular games on the market and another Anniversary event is quickly approaching. With the likes of Dragoon Mercy and more joining the celebration, there’s a lot for fans to anticipate and here you’ll discover what time the Overwatch Anniversary 2020 event is likely to start on the confirmed date of May 19th.

There’s more than just Mercy as a literal Queen of Dragons in fine armour joining the celebration as the game’s official Twitter account has also confirmed legendary Huitzilopochtli Zenyatta and Masquerade Reaper. Not to mention there’s also a cute Little Red Ashe inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.

Blizzard have confirmed the following Legendary new skins for the Overwatch Anniversary 2020 event:

  • Dragoon Mercy
  • Huitzilopochtli Zenyatta
  • Masquerade Reaper
  • Little Red Ashe

Aside from the above confirmed skins, leaked patch notes for the upcoming celebration suggest that there will also be more obtainable through weekly anniversary challenges.

These unconfirmed skins mentioned in the leaked patch notes are Carbon Fiber Sigma, Fleur de Lis Widowmaker, and Masked Man McCree.

In addition to all of the above new skins that will be added to the game, the leaked patch notes also mentions that players will be able to obtain items for previous festivities by opening loot boxes and using credits.

What time does the Overwatch Anniversary 2020 Event start?

Blizzard have not confirmed what time the Overwatch Anniversary 2020 event will start on May 19th.  

However, educated guesses floating around the web have the Overwatch 2020 Anniversary event pegged for a start time of about 11:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 19:00 BST.

While the above times are educated assumptions based on prior event start times and more, they are not confirmed unlike the event’s start and end date.

Over on the official Twitter account, the Overwatch 2020 Anniversary event is scheduled to last from May 19th until June 9th.
