White Lines is the the next big hit from streaming service Netflix and boasts a star-studded cast but just who plays Kika Calafat?

After releasing on May 15th, White Lines has quickly risen to the top of the Netflix trending pile.

The captivating drama series takes viewers to the stunning Spanish island of Ibiza.

But rather than going for the sunshine and sea, lead character Zoe Walker is there to identify the body of her brother, Axel, after he is found, 20 years after disappearing.

Taking a prominent role in the series alongside Zoe is Kika Calafat, Axel’s girlfriend at the time of his disappearance but just who plays this enigmatic character?

White Lines on Netflix

Season 1 of White Lines released on Netflix on May 15th.

The series is the latest creation from Money Heist writer, Alex Pina.

The 10-episode series tells the story of Zoe Walker as she travels to the Spanish island of Ibiza to uncover the mystery behind her brother’s death after his body is found more than 20 years after he first went missing.

Along the way, Zoe uncovers much more than she could ever have imagined.


Who plays Kika in White Lines?

  • Kika is played primarily by Marta Milans.

There is a young version of Kika seen in the series, she is played by Zoe Mulheims. White Lines is her very first role.

Marta Milans, meanwhile, is a 38-year-old Spanish actress.

Born in Madrid, Marta made her acting debut in 2006 and has since gone on to appear in some big-name productions, which we’ll get onto shortly.

Away from the acting world, Marta is highly active on social media and her Instagram account currently boasts a following of 39,500 fans.

Marta Milans: Films and TV

As mentioned, Marta Milans made her acting debut in 2006, this came in the film Love in the Age of Dion.

Since then, Marta has appeared in almost 30 acting roles, both English and Spanish, the biggest of which have come in the likes of Killer Women, No Tomorrow, HBO’s High Maintenance and Spanish series, The Pier.

Her standout role to date, however, came in the DCEU film, Shazam!, where she played the character of Rosa Vasquez, who fans will remember as Billy and Freddy’s foster mother.

According to IMDb, Marta’s next on-screen appearance is set to take place in the series Los favoritos de Midas which is currently in the middle of filming.
