According to Le10sport, reported Everton and Tottenham Hotspur target Baptise Santamaria has an agreement with Angers to move clubs this summer.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move in the upcoming transfer window.
According to Ouest France, Everton and Tottenham are keen while Premier League rivals Leicester City are also accredited with an interest.
Santamaria joined Angers for a bargain £450,000 fee in 2016.
The 25-year-old has since become one of the most sought-after players in France, with many labelling him the next N’Golo Kante for his intense running and closing down.
Santamaria has averaged 3.3 tackles and 1.5 interceptions per game this season (Whoscored).
The French season has finished as a result of the Covid-19 suspension. Players will now be setting their sights on this summer and a potential move.
Le10sport claim Santamaria has an agreement with Angers to leave. Nice are the latest club interested in him, while Angers seek a £13 million fee.
For the likes of Everton and Tottenham, he could be a bargain in today’s market.
Everton sold key midfielder Idrissa Gueye to Paris Saint-Germain. He has left a void at Goodison Park, and the Toffees must fill it this summer.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have struggled with defensive cover in midfield all season, conceding 46 league goals in 29 games.
Spurs, on the other hand, have yet to see the best from Tanguy Ndombele while Eric Dier and Harry Winks have struggled with consistency this season.
