According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have snubbed Arsenal duo Hector Bellerin and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – as well as Ajax star Donny van de Beek.

It’s claimed that right back Bellerin and striker Aubameyang were put forward to Barcelona. They’re in the market for players in those positions, so it was likely agents offering them rather than Arsenal themselves.

However, Barcelona have allegedly snubbed both. That may be a blow for Bellerin, who was born in Barcelona and came up through the ranks with Barca before leaving in 2011.

The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent times, and could have offered competition for Nelson Semedo or Sergi Roberto. However, Barca don’t appear keen on re-signing Bellerin.

Aubameyang is out of contract in 2021, meaning Arsenal may be forced to sell this summer. With Luis Suarez out indefinitely, Aubameyang could have fit as an experienced attacker to make an instant impact.

Yet whilst Barca raided Arsenal for their number 14 in Thierry Henry back in 2007, the same won’t be happening this time as Barcelona would prefer Lautaro Martinez to the Gabon star.

Finally, Barca have allegedly snubbed Van de Beek too. Ajax allegedly want $50million (£41million) for the midfielder, a price Barca can’t pay right now.

The Dutchman is wanted by Newcastle United according to Le10 Sport, and if their takeover goes through, they may be in a position to swoop in and sign Van de Beek having seen Barca snub him.
