Who plays Sugar in Brassic?

Sugar was present in series 1 of Brassic but has graduated into a full-blown member of the gang after moving in with Erin.

  • Sugar is played in the series by Joanna Higson.

The 36-year-old actress, who hails from Horwich in Greater Manchester, has been acting professionally since 2007, after graduating from Salford University with a First Class Honours degree in Media and Performance in 2006.

Away from acting, Joanna is highly active on social media and has accounts on both Instagram and Twitter with a combined following of just under 3,000 at the time of writing.
