Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has raved about Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore on That Peter Crouch Podcast.

The Scotland international has admitted that Traore ripped him apart this season, and has spoken highly of him.

Robertson said on That Peter Crouch Podcast, as transcribed by talkSPORT: “Traore this season ripped me apart, to be fair.

“I think he could give most Premier League defenders a 15-yard start and he would win the race.

“Big Virg and him had a great race, to be fair. Big Virg has just got his big long legs.”

Liverpool transfer target

Interestingly, Traore has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Reds are interested in securing the services of the 24-year-old former Aston Villa man this summer.

Arsenal have also been credited with interest in the Spanish winger by The Mirror.

Traore has made 22 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves so far this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
