Tottenham Hotspur have seen Serge Aurier become Jose Mourinho’s clear first-choice at right back, but they look set to bring in another option whenever the transfer window opens.

Kyle Walker-Peters played just once under Mourinho before heading out on loan to Southampton in January, whilst Juan Foyth looks set to move on this summer.

Adding another right back should therefore be a major priority for Spurs, and they’ve already been strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain ace Thomas Meunier.

A little closer to home though, Norwich City star Max Aarons has emerged as a target for Spurs, with the Canaries in danger of being relegated if the season resumes.

Soccer Link recently reported that Tottenham want to sign the 20-year-old Englishman ahead of Arsenal, with Mourinho allegedly making contact with him about a move.

That was surely through an agent, but Mourinho seemingly wants Aarons to come in and compete with Aurier at right back, and he has received a slight boost.

On Wednesday night, Aarons answered questions for Rising Ballers on Instagram, and admitted – as seen in the video below – that Tottenham’s new stadium is the best ground he’s played at, alongside Old Trafford as it was ‘crazy’ playing there.

“That was crazy in there,” said Aarons. “You look at it and you can just feel how good it is, how good it’s been built. I can’t really choose between Old Trafford and the Tottenham stadium,” he added.
