Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming with the club, after they have failed to pull Tanguy Ndombele out of international duty.

Spurs midfielder Ndombele has joined up with the French squad, despite carrying a knock after Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s match at the weekend.

Ndombele had to come off at half-time during Tottenham’s game against Sheffield United due to injury.

But France boss Dechamps insists that the problem is not too much of a concern.

“It’s not very bad, he has a little worry that should be resolved within 48 hours. If I had uncertainty, I would have made the decision (to call someone else up)," the French manager said to L'Equipe

There are now real fears from Spurs fans that Dechamps is going to rush Ndombele back to fitness and play him over the international break.

And Tottenham supporters think that Ndombele should have been told not to take the risk of representing his country, while he is still nursing an injury.

Spurs lost Giovani Lo Celso to injury this season which he picked up while playing for Argentina, so their fears over Ndombele are understandable.

Ndombele has already made himself a key player at Spurs, and if he was to pick up an injury it would be a huge blow to Pochettino’s side.
