Celtic wonder-kid Karamoko Dembele could reportedly leave Parkhead for Frank Lampard’s Premier League high-flyers Chelsea.

Celtic have been handed an unwelcome headache with reports from 90Min claiming that Chelsea are set to make a bid for wonder-kid Karamoko Dembele; if they have their FIFA-imposed transfer ban lifted that is.
Dembele shot to fame at the age of just 13. Dominating a game against players seven years older than you at youth level is one way to make a name for yourself, with grainy footage showing the tiny Dembele skipping past challengers and bullying 6ft something defenders at will.
Now 16, the fleet-footed attacker already has a first-team appearance under his belt, coming off the bench during May’s Scottish Premiership victory against Hearts.
The Hoops will be hoping that is not his only game in green and white with reports claiming that Premier League powerhouses Chelsea are lining up an offer.
The report says that a bid could even arrive in January if The Blues see their transfer ban brought to an end. Comparisons will inevitably be drawn with Islam Feruz, the one-time teen sensation who swapped Celtic for Chelsea in 2014 who then spent time out on loan at five clubs in four different countries before being released with barely a murmur.

But with Frank Lampard at the helm, youth has come to the fore at Stamford Bridge with Billy Gilmour, who himself completed a controversial move from Rangers to West London, starting to become a regular in the first-team.
Celtic will be desperate to hang onto their prized asset though and it will take a big bid from Chelsea to convince Neil Lennon’s side to cash in.
