Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin lost his marker at one point as Bournemouth scored the opening goal in the contest.

Newcastle ran out 2-1 winners at St. James’ Park, with Yedlin actually getting on the scoresheet.
But the American defender felt that he was at fault for the goal which Bournemouth scored.
Harry Wilson had fired the Cherries in front, after a well worked corner kick.
King first dropped short, and Yedlin gave him too much space to pick a pass back to Ryan Fraser, who set up Wilson to blast home.
And Yedlin admits that he completely lost focus from the corner, so he felt he had some making up to do to his teammates.
Yedlin said: “I was supposed to be on Josh King for that one, so it was good I scored to make up for it. I lost concentration on that, but it happens and that’s why you have team-mates around you.”

Newcastle have now picked up back to back victories, with Steve Bruce’s side making good progress.
Bruce’s appointment at Newcastle was controversial, but the Magpies have now made a positive start to the campaign.
Newcastle are currently sat in 13th place in the Premier League table as things stand, and are next in action after the international break with a game against Aston Villa.
