Aston Villa once had Adama Traore but he was far more impactful against them for Wolverhampton Wanderers than he ever was in their colours.
Aston Villa fans have admitted that Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore was brilliant yesterday.
Wolves beat Villa 2-1, with Traore proving to be a constant menace throughout the match.
Traore set up Wolves’ second goal in the contest, as he pulled the ball back to Raul Jimenez to score, and Villa just could not deal with him.
Matt Targett and Neil Taylor both failed to contain the Wolves man, who was instrumental in their victory.
Traore, of course, used to play for Villa but he never put in an appearance as effective as yesterday’s in a claret and blue shirt.
And even Villa fans have admitted that they are impressed by the improvements that Traore has made.
I’ll give Adama Traore his due today, could not get near that bloke #AVFC— J (@In1982_) November 10, 2019
Neil Taylor made Adama look world class, still don’t rate him, speed merchant who Taylor has no chance with— Will (@will_avfc) November 10, 2019
Imagine if had Adama as a winger today. He’s been a nuisance all day. #avfc— Victor (@vicramsey85) November 10, 2019
Why wasn’t Adama this good when he played for us #avfc— Luke (@Lu_keEdwards) November 10, 2019
Looks like Adama Traore has escaped from Alan Hutton’s pocket #avfc— David Reed (@david_reed) November 10, 2019
Credit where credit is due, Adama Traore looked a better player yesterday than when he left us. Seems to be knitting his blistering pace with good decision making and put in some dangerous crosses, one of which led to a goal #AVFC #WWFC— James (@Mr_AVFC) November 11, 2019
Traore is destroying Targett. Bring back Alan Hutton #avfc— A12 UTV (@andyvillain1212) November 10, 2019
Traore now has eight assists for the season, and he is growing into one of Wolves’ most dangerous attacking threats.
If Traore keeps up this kind of form, his value could yet sky rocket, and he is seemingly starting to fulfil his obvious potential.
Yesterday’s win has put Wolves into eighth place in the Premier League table, while Villa have fallen into 17th spot.
