Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has praised Leicester’s James Maddison after he helped his side beat Arsenal.

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has labelled James Maddison as a ‘joke’ after he helped his Leicester side beat Arsenal 2-0 on Saturday evening.

The comments from Grealish were meant in a positive way as Maddison replied to Grealish by saying ‘my broo’ as the Foxes secured a deserved three points against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium.

Maddison was a key figure in the middle of the park for Brendan Rodgers men as they seemingly eased passed an Arsenal side lacking confidence.

Given the way Leicester are going, they may well be heading for Champions League football at the end of the season.

Nonetheless, this was the message Grealish sent to Maddison from his personal Instagram account, with Maddison’s response:

Both Maddison and Grealish are regarded as two of the best prospects in England’s game today, with the former earning an international call.

Grealish has been snubbed for England’s up and coming international fixtures, but Maddison, who is being touted at a price of £60 million [Leicester Mercury] will be hoping to earn his first minutes for his country.

There could be the possibility that at the end of the season both Maddison and Grealish are fighting for that last spot for Euro 2020.
