Slaven Bilic's West Brom are now undefeated in six matches after beating Hull City 1-0 away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

The Baggies maintained their two-point lead at the top of the table thanks to a Jake Livermore goal from the edge of the area within half an hour of kick-off.

With two home matches to follow after the international break, against Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City, there'll be real confidence they can stay top of the league heading into December.

The first match next month will be a crucial trip away to currently second-placed Preston North End.

One of the major positives for some fans this season has been the improvement in performance from Kyle Bartley, who helped keep another clean sheet yesterday.

The 28-year-old has started every league match so far in 2019/20 and has shown excellent consistency. Bilic is getting performances out of him that Darren Moore couldn't last season, who signed him in the summer of 2018.

He's formed a formidable partnership with Semi Ajayi that doesn't look like being broken up any time soon.
