Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have won against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
John Aldridge has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s win against Manchester City on Sunday evening.
Liverpool have enhanced their chances of winning the Premier League title this season with a 3-1 win against City at Anfield.
Fabinho and Mohamed Salah scored early in the first half to put the Reds 2-0 up, before Sadio Mane found the net in the opening minutes of the second period.
Bernardo Silva pulled one back for City in the 78th minute, but it was too little, too late.
The result means that Jurgen Klopp’s side are now eight points clear at the top of the league table and nine ahead of defending champions City.
Former Liverpool striker Aldridge was following the match, and he has revelled in the win for the Reds.
Meanwhile, former City winger Trevor Sinclair has said that City will bounce back from the loss to the Reds, and has warned Liverpool that they should expect a reaction from the Citizens.
