Leicester City won against Arsenal on Saturday.

Gary Lineker has praised Leicester City on Twitter for their performance and win against Arsenal on Saturday.

Leicester maintained their good run of form with a 2-0 win against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

After a goalless first half, Jamie Vardy put Brendan Rodgers’s side in the lead in the 68th minute, and James Maddison doubled the advantage on 75 minutes.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker was following the match, and he was pleased with the display produced by Leicester.

Lineker has also claimed that the current Leicester side is better than the one that won the Premier League title in 2015-16.

Top-four challenge

Leicester have been superb this season, and the win against Arsenal means that the Foxes are as high as second in the league table at the moment.

While it is unlikely that Rodgers’s side will challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title this season, the Foxes are certainly in the running for a top-four finish.
