Crystal Palace are among the clubs reportedly interested in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

According to The Express, Chelsea want £5 million in transfer fees for Olivier Giroud, who is reportedly on the radar of Crystal Palace among other clubs.

The Sun has claimed of interest in the former Arsenal striker from Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Palace.

The Express has reported that Inter Milan, Vancouver Whitecaps, Nice, Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon all are interested in securing the services of the 33-year-old striker.

It has also been claimed by The Express that Chelsea will want £5m for Giroud when the transfer window opens in January.

Leaving Chelsea

Giroud may be 33 years of age, but the France international remains a very good striker who can still do a brilliant job in the Premier League.

The former Arsenal striker has managed to make just one start and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blues so far this season, according to WhoScored.

It is clear that Giroud is not part of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard’s plan at the moment, and a switch to Palace in January will help both the striker and the Eagles.
