Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are upset with Serge Aurier.
Mauricio Pochettino put his players through their paces on Friday ahead of this afternoon's visit of Sheffield United in North London.
Training is less intensive than a competitive game - at least, it's supposed to be, but a training-ground image of the Tottenham right-back has upset some Spurs supporters on Twitter.
The former Paris Saint-Germain defender appears to have lunged in on 17-year-old striker Troy Parrott, arguably the club's most exciting young player.
Here's the image:
Aurier and Son Heung-min were both involved in the horror injury which left Everton's Andre Gomes with a broken ankle during last week's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
The Cameroon international has also conceded big penalties this season, such as the one which led to Liverpool winning 2-1 at Anfield last month.
Here's how Tottenham fans reacted to his tackle on Irish striker Parrott.
No wonder Lamela is injured all the time with Aurier marking him in training. Is that Parrots career he is trying to end there before it’s started??— Justin Stevens (@jstevens123) November 8, 2019
Get this liability out of the club— Aden• (@hengy) November 8, 2019
Would rather play with 10 men for rest of season. Walking red card ♂️— Rob (@robcollin17) November 8, 2019
