Mateusz Klich has committed his long-term future to Leeds United.

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Mateusz Klich signing a new contract with the club.

As announced on Leeds’s official website this morning, Klich has committed his long-term future to the Whites.

The Poland international midfielder has put pen to paper on a new four-and-a-half-year deal with the Championship club.

The 29-year-old joined Leeds back in the summer of 2017 from FC Twente and was director of football Victor Orta’s first signing for the West Yorkshire outfit.

Klich initially struggled at Elland Road and went out on loan at FC Utrecht, but under head coach Marcelo Bielsa, he has established himself as an important player in the team.

According to WhoScored, Klich has scored one goal and provided one assist in 15 Championship appearances for Leeds so far this season.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the Poland international midfielder scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in 48 league appearances for the Whites, according to WhoScored.
