The Portuguese winger was lukewarm again for Leeds United today.

Helder Costa had another mixed display for Leeds United this afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side edged out Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Elland Road, but the home fans still haven’t seen the best of their Portuguese winger.

Costa, on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, started on the right-hand side of Leeds’ attack and, despite plenty of promising running, there was more lack of end product.

United are committed to paying £15 million for him at the end of this season [The Daily Mail] and he doesn’t look like a player worth that much money.

Some Leeds fans liked the look of him today, while others offered a harsher assessment of his performance:

The talent is definitely there with Costa but, for whatever reason, the end product isn’t.

We’re already in November and it’s safe to say that the Wolves winger really isn’t delivering right now and it’s a worry.

Fifteen million is a lot of money, especially if Leeds don’t win Premier League promotion, and the sooner Costa starts performing, the better.
