Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the controversial VAR incident in the Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United today.

In the second half, David McGoldrick scored for United what appeared to be an equaliser, but it was disallowed by VAR following a decision that took over three minutes.

It was a controversial decision, as it was not clear even after replays if John Lundstram was actually offside or not.

Tottenham legend Lineker was following the match, and he was not happy at all with the VAR decision.

United eventually scored the equaliser in the 78th minute, as the Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

It was a disappointing result for Tottenham, who should have picked up all three points from the encounter.

The North London outfit are going through a bad spell, and it does now look quite unlikely that they will finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
