Tottenham youngster Jack Roles’ is progressing well on loan.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles has been nominated for the PFA’s Fans’ League Two Player of the Month Award.

Roles is currently out on loan at Cambridge United.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for Roles online.

The highly rated youngster has progressed well on loan, playing on a regular basis for Cambridge.

Roles posted a message on Twitter stating: “Always nice to get recognition from the fans, all votes appreciated.”

The 20-year-old is on his first loan spell after consistently impressing for Tottenham’s under-23 side, where he was a regular goalscorer from midfield.

He has made 10 appearances from midfield for Cambridge and scored three goals, averaging a strike every 179 minutes.

It is a positive for Tottenham to see him doing well, and might give the North London side reason to wonder if he can cut it at a higher level than League Two if given the opportunity.

Roles’ loan at Cambridge runs until January 5.
