Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Ryan Sessegnon came off the bench in the Champions League win over Red Star.
Even in his brief 16 minute cameo appearance he made an impression, providing an assist as Spurs put the finishing touches on a 4-0 victory.
Sessegnon arrived at Spurs injured and fans have had to be patient to see the former Fulham man in action.
Speaking after making his appearance, Sessegnon admitted he was thrilled to fulfil a dream by playing in Europe's elite competition.
He told Football London: "Champions League debut was one of my childhood dreams. To do that was a fantastic feeling for me and I just want to kick on and keep playing games.
"I knew if I was to come on I wanted to impact the game whether that be a goal, assist, nice touches and nice play.
"Hopefully I can use that as a boost for the upcoming games."
Sessegnon's performance was just a glimpse of what he can do and now there will be calls for him to get a first start.
It might not be long, although Spurs might want to keep using him as an impact substitute to build up his fitness and not rush him with too much too soon.
