Celtic stunned Lazio with a win in Rome.

Celtic qualified for the Europa League knockout stages with an impressive away win over Lazio.

Back to back wins over the Italians have left Lazio on the brink of elimination.

The Serie A side are reeling from the loss, but midfield Marco Parolo had positive words to say about Celtic’s goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

He praised Forster’s performance, lauding the Celtic stopper’s ‘decisive’ impact.

Parolo told Tuttomercatoweb: “As usual we are able to create a lot, we are not good at exploiting the opportunities that happen.

“In Europe you give an opportunity and they punish you, in Italy this is not always the case. Their goalkeeper was once again decisive.”

Lazio had gone a goal up after just seven minutes through striker Ciro Immobile before James Forrest equalised before half-time.

The Italians had more possession, more shots on target, but could not make them count and Olivier Ntcham’s 95th minute winner made them pay, and send Celtic’s supporters wild.
