Audiences are ready for more fights with this anime crowdpleaser.
Don't worry, they haven't forgotten...
Netflix has been absolutely smashing it lately, let's be honest. It would take ages to cite all of the great content they've put out recently, but there are some obvious highlights; Big Mouth season 3, Daybreak, The Kominsky Method season 2, BoJack Horseman's penultimate batch of episodes, docu-series The Devil Next Door...
As we say, we could go on.
There's a disturbing lack of anime in this shortlist, we know. However, now that Kengan Ashura part 2 has finally arrived, an adjustment feels pretty much imperative. Audiences were already impressed when part 1 landed on the streaming service back in July 2019, but the second - which surfaced on Thursday, October 31st - has cemented it as one of the best anime titles on the platform. Will it return?

Kengan Ashura: Has Season 3 been confirmed?
As of yet, Kengan Ashura season 3 has not been confirmed.
Currently, there are two parts on Netflix, both containing twelve episodes each. With both parts released within such a short space of time - and accounting for their popularity - it would be bizarre not to expect a part 3 to be in the pipeline.
It's a little hard to predict when it could arrive. If we were to go by the previous season, we could perhaps expect it to arrive sometime around February 2020.
We'll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for any renewal updates.

Netflix: Does Kengan Ashura need a part 3?
Part 2 left a lot of narrative threads open-ended. In the final episode, we ended on Ohma beating Raina in the second round, eyeing the quarter-final; we can't wait to see how it goes.
With the story only half told, it's a no-brainer to expect it back on screens. What's on Nextflix have even argued that Kengan Ashura could warrant another two parts at least before bowing out.
Not only can we expect part 3, but surely a part 4 too. As you may know, it's based on the Japanese manga written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon which arrived in 2012, coming to a close in 2018. With that in mind, there's plenty more source material they can use for inspiration.

Fans talk Kengan Ashura on Twitter
Audiences have flocked to Twitter to offer their thoughts on the new season.
Early on, one viewer wrote: "Kengan Ashura. Season 2 Episode 1 is absolutely amazing. Brutal, great story and excellent animation. Got a good feeling about the new episodes. #KENGANASHURA."
In comparison with the first, another added: "Man, I thought Kengan Ashura was violent. But then Kengan Ashura season 2 happened."
However, it seems not everybody was won over: "[on season 2]... as much as I want to try and like Kengan Ashura, it’s still just a Baki knock off even down to the creepy doctors fighting style, the sumo, the pros wrestler, the big dumb friend with the crazy grip etc..."
You can't please them all, but this enthusiastic fan tweeted: "My god season 2 of #kenganashura was fantastic. @netflix there NEED to be more seasons, it's too good to miss out on."
