Arsenal fans are laughing at Newcastle United, after they have been linked with Granit Xhaka.

The Times claim that Newcastle want Xhaka in the January transfer window.

The Swiss international could leave Arsenal in the new year, according to the latest reports, after falling out with the club’s supporters.

Newcastle are now looking to take advantage of the situation.

But it’s fair to say that Arsenal followers don’t feel that Xhaka would be a good addition for Steve Bruce’s side.

Xhaka would at least offer Newcastle some experience, and he would arrive at St. James’ Park with a point to prove.

There are question marks over Xhaka’s athletic ability, but technically he would be one of the standout players in Newcastle’s squad if he was to join.

Bruce is expected to have funds to spend in January, but whether Xhaka would agree to a move still remains to be seen.
