Arsenal fans have been left furious with rumours that Lucas Torreira could leave in January.
Torreira could now leave the Gunners in January, and Arsenal fans are pointing the finger firmly at Emery.
Torreira has struggled for regular game time with Arsenal, with Emery often playing him in a more advanced role than he is suited to.
And if Torreira does leave in January, it seems that Emery’s popularity at Arsenal could take yet another hit.
He constantly plays our best players out of postions, he makes awful subs, and he refuses to play our best 11 i'm actually starting to think he is a Spurs fan— 0-0-3 #EmeryOut (@detir_) November 7, 2019
This absolute farce has to end. The board has to grow a pair and do the deed. It's not nice, but it's imperative. The entire season is at stake here, and hence potentially our immediate future.— Tushar (@DrTusharKadam) November 7, 2019
Funny you mention that. I think he took the job with an agenda. You see he is very good friends with Poch and this is a tactical conspirator to make Arsenal bad until Spurs redeem. Look how terrible we are and look how terrible Spurs are.— sam (@sam67306018) November 7, 2019
The Emery effect. Not big club material. We are in the results business now, not sentiment business.— Pepe Nicolas (@NicolasPepes) November 7, 2019
Emery is such poison man just get him out man— Samuel™ (@AFCSamueI) November 7, 2019
Emery will destroy our squad. The next to go will be Auba and Laca...— Jon Pearl (@jmpearl1234) November 8, 2019
Despite the current rumours there are no guarantees that Emery will even last in his role at Arsenal until January right now.
The Spaniard has come under huge pressure, with Arsenal’s performances and results poor in recent times.
