Raul Jimenez's late header saw Nuno Espirito Santo's side beat Slovan Bratislava 1-0 to put the old gold within touching distance of the knockout stages of the competition.
Traore has been a player reborn this season and put in another impressive display against the Slovakian side as he gave Vernon De Marco a torrid time early on and contributed the cross for Jimenez's winner.
At full time, the 23-year-old praised the Wolves team's effort right until the final whistle and thanked the fans for their support, prompting some to respond on social media:
Happy with the effort from the whole team until the final minute. Thanks to the fans for your support. pic.twitter.com/ZHXphabluF— Adama Traoré Diarra (@AdamaTrd37) 7 November 2019

Traore was briefly the Molineux club's record signing when they triggered the £18million release clause in his Middlesbrough contract in the summer of 2018, as reported by BBC Sport, and is reported to be on £43,000 per week, according to Spotrac.
Up next for Wolves is Sunday's Premier League clash with fellow West Midlands side Aston Villa at Molineux.
