Brandon Barker was in action for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox this evening.
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Brandon Barker against FC Porto at Ibrox.
Barker was in action for Rangers in their Europa League fixture against Porto at home this evening.
The 23-year-old former Manchester City winger stared the match and played for 65 minutes.
The English youngster did not have a good game and struggled to make a major impact on the match before he was taken off.
According to WhoScored, Barker took one shot which was not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 93.3%, took 27 touches, and attempted one dribble.
Barker joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Premier League giants City.
The winger has failed to do much of note for Rangers so far this season, making two starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
Rangers fans were not impressed with the display produced by Barker and have criticised the 23-year-old winger on Twitter.

Can’t slate Barker’s shift but he’s not Rangers standard. End of— Harry (@irn_bruu) November 7, 2019

No offence to the boy but he is totally out his depth.— Captain Flash (@CaptainFlash55) November 7, 2019
I can’t, although he played well in the reverse fixture. He looks totally off the pace the night and should be replaced for the 2nd half— Biscuit Browns (@BiscuitBrowns) November 7, 2019
Rangers are playing too deep. The gap between midfield and Morelos massive. Barker isn’t giving us width and if Kent and him don’t give width the midfield won’t push up. Porto are coasting it the way we have played first half.— NaeBull (@NaeBull) November 7, 2019
Rangers fan for 38 years and barker coming out for the 2nd half is the worst decision I’ve ever seen— Craig (@craigmoore1981) November 7, 2019
