Neil Lennon’s Celtic have won Lazio in the Europa League.

Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s win against Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Celtic have won 2-1 against Italian club Lazio away from home in Europa League Group E.

A late goal from Olivier Ntcham saw the Hoops complete the comeback victory.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of the Hoops.

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has revelled in the win for the Hoops, and so has Shay Given – who is now a coach at Derby County in the Championship in England and was at the Bhoys as a youth player in the 1990s.

Successful season for Celtic

Celtic are going strong in the Europa League this season, and the Hoops will fancy their chances of going further than the round of 32.

Lennon’s side have also reached the final of the Scottish League Cup, and are favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
