The Leeds United owner was pictured in Paris on Wednesday.
Andrea Radrizzani has responded to a journalist who claimed that the Leeds United owner held takeover talks in Paris on Wednesday.
Radrizzani was pictured with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Paris Saint-Germain president, at the French side’s 1-0 Champions League win against Club Brugge.
According to The Times‘ Martin Ziegler, the Italian – who said last month that he is considering an offer from Qatar Sports Investment (QSI), run by Al-Khelaifi – planned to hold further discussions with the prospective Leeds buyer while in the French capital.
Radrizzani – who the newspaper claimed is considering alternative offers from the owner of an Italian club and a hugely wealthy Leeds fan based in the United States – is said to be close friends with the Qatari from his time running MP & Silva, the sports marketing agency that sold football television rights.
And in a tweet sent directly to Ziegler, Radrizzani wrote:
Martinplease check better with your sources I enjoyed the game @psg as I have done so many times and had several meetings with major media companies based in Paris as I have been doing in the last 20 years when I am in the city. I will keep you posted, no secrets between us— Andrea Radrizzani (@andrearadri) November 7, 2019
