Imagine taking a deep breath and realising you’ve just earned hundreds of dollars.

Are you ready to venture into the mind of a genius?

Netflix released the exciting new documentary series – Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates – earlier this year, which focuses its lens on the American business magnate.

The 63-year-old is the founder of the Microsoft Corporation and is known for many things, but mostly, people just know him as a genius. He launched the company with Paul Allen back in 1975 and since then his impact on the landscape of technology has changed our lives forever.

So, why not get to know him a little better? On so many occasions, Forbes has declared him the richest person in the world, but how much does he actually make?

Bill Gates attends the Telluride Film Festival 2019 on August 31, 2019 in Telluride, Colorado.

How much money does Bill Gates make a second?

According to The Street, Bill Gates makes $127 per second!

This was determined by Forbes Magazine in their dive into the richest people in the world. This relates to the figure of how much money he made per second just last year.

However, with his net worth increasing from 2017 to 2018 by $4 billion, we imagine every second is a little sweeter for Bill in 2019 – we’ll get to that!

How about a day?

As offered by the same source – and during the same time period – the tech mogul was raking in $10,959,000 a day… a day!

It’s crazy, who could even imagine. That works out to $456,625 per hour and $7,610 per minute.

Looking at his net worth now, his growth all comes into perspective…

Bill Gates talks Windows Mobile

As highlighted by The Verge, Bill spoke out at The New York Times’ Dealbook Conference just recently, giving his thoughts behind the use of Windows Mobile.

Explaining why it hasn’t taken off quite so well as expected, he argued: “There’s no doubt that the antitrust lawsuit was bad for Microsoft, and we would have been more focused on creating the phone operating system and so instead of using Android today you would be using Windows Mobile.”

Continuing on, he said: “If it hadn’t been for the antitrust case… we were so close, I was just too distracted. I screwed that up because of the distraction.”

Bill Gates’ net worth

As highlighted by Forbes, Bill Gates is the second richest person in the world and his net worth is $105.8B, as of Friday, September 20th 2019. The richest is founder, CEO, and president of Amazon, Jeff Bezos.

For more interesting information about Bill, there’s no better place to head to than David Guggenheim’s Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates on Netflix. With a range of footage, interviews and beyond, it’s a must-see.
