Looking for something to do this festive season? Look no further.

Can you hear it?

You’re just going about your business and all of a sudden it hits. Echoes of ‘ All I Want for Christmas is You’ or ‘Fairytale of New York’ can be heard faintly in the background.

There is no turning back. It’s Christmas time, whether you’re a fan of the season or not. However, considering you’re here, we’re guessing this Christmas is one to be embraced with friends and family. It’s an exciting time; the perfect opportunity to get out and experience some entertainment.

One of this year’s essentials should be a visit to Winter Wonderland…

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Of course, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has returned for 2019!

The festivities begin on Thursday, November 21st 2019, and the Wonderland will remain open throughout the Christmas period until Sunday, January 5th 2020.

The attraction is free and open from 10 am until 10 pm every day, so whether you’re looking for a fun day out or an evening of excitement, they have you covered.

Welcoming people of all ages, the site offers rides, activities and a wealth of spectacle, including Cirque Berserk.

Cirque Berserk will also return as one of the event’s popular attractions this year.

There is a whole new show for audiences to dive into, with acrobats dazzling in the MegaDome to motorcyclists taking on the Globe of Death.

You certainly won’t want to miss out; according to the website, the circus’ session times are 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm. Shows are approximately 45 minutes long and customers are advised to arrive 20 minutes early to ensure adequate time to be seated.

The site also notes that 9 pm showings will available from Sunday, December 22nd 2019 to Saturday, January 4th 2020.

Adult tickets vary from £11.50 – £17.00, children £8.50 to £13.50, family £34.00 to £54.00.

We will also be able to enjoy the Wonderland’s ice rink, ski lodge-inspired Bar Ice and a range of first-time additions to the experience.

The website notes that they offer the world’s tallest transportable Observation Wheel, A Christmas Carol-themed Magical Ice Kingdom, new acts at the Winter Wonderland Comedy Club and more.

This year, a visit here appears absolutely essential.
