Whether you regard Home Alone as a classic Christmas movie or only see it as a film set in Christmas (people like to make a deal about this), the Macaulay Culkin flick will be watched by millions of people over this 2019 holiday season. So, is it on Netflix?

Home Alone was released in 1990 and became an instant family favourite, serving up feel-good humour, festive spirit and the type of family feuds we all love to see.

The film was released in August 1990, however, which does serve questions as to whether it was released with the intention of revolutionising the Christmas movie market.

Nevertheless, Christmas lovers are now besotted by the movie and every festive period offers Macaulay Culkin fans to throwback to the days where he was the cutest kid on the block.

Competition to serve Home Alone online and on TV in the UK changes every year, with the launch of Apple TV+ and Disney+ in 2019 rivalling platforms such as Now TV and Netflix.

Updated weekly, here’s everything you need to know about watching Home Alone online ya filthy animals!

Is Home Alone on Netflix for Christmas 2019?

Yes!

Home Alone is on Netflix for Christmas 2019 after joining the global streaming platform in December.

Netflix also have also added Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Home Alone 3 to their collection.

Home Alone is not on Hayu (Hulu), Apple TV+, Now TV, Disney+ or the Sky Christmas Collection

While Home Alone may feel like a Disney movie it is actually a 20th Century Fox production.
