Newcastle United will let three first-team players leave on free transfers, according to The Daily Mirror (November 5, page 50).

Goalkeeper Rob Elliot, right-back Javi Manquillo and central midfielder Ki Sung-yueng are all out of contract at the end of this season.

And it is claimed the trio will be allowed to run down their deals.

However, the report fails to state Newcastle’s intentions for others in their final year, such as goalkeeper Karl Darlow and centre-back Federico Fernandez.

Jonjo Shelvey is close to extending his contract on Tyneside, while the Magpies hope to agree new deals for Isaac Hayden and Matt Ritchie in the new year, according to The Daily Mirror.
