Scottish Premiership champions Celtic will host Serie A high-flyers Lazio in Thursday's Europa League clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

Joaquin Correa has been the centre of all attention in the build-up to Lazio’s crucial Europa League clash against Celtic on Thursday.
Not content with scoring a dramatic late winner as Simone Inzaghi’s side beat AC Milan at the San Siro for the first time since 1989 in Serie A, the skilful Spaniard has been more than open about his desire for revenge when Neil Lennon’s Hoops arrive in the Italian capital later this week.
A towering Christopher Jullien header and a stoppage-time Fraser Forster wonder-save secured a dramatic 2-1 triumph over Lazio at a bouncing Celtic Park in October. And Correa, in quotes reported by the Daily Record, had payback in his sights.
"Even when we lost, like in Glasgow against Celtic, we actually played really well. We didn't deserve to lose, but we have a chance to make up for it this week,” said the former Sevilla star.
But Correa will have no part to play in a game which could see Celtic put one boot into the Europa League knockout stages.

According to V Sport, the 25-year-old suffered a calf injury in training and he will now be forced to sit out the match-day four clash in Rome. Lazio have lost their most creative, in-form player, a man who has three goals in his last four Serie A games and tends to come alive on the big occasion, scoring against Fiorentina and Atalanta before stunning Milan on their own soil.
And if you strain your ears enough, you might just hear Celtic’s defenders breathe an almighty sigh of relief.
