Rockstar Games have just released update version 1.14 for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 and Xbox One as the wild west carries on over to PC.
Today is a good day as Rockstar Games’ magnum opus Red Dead Redemption 2 finally launches and unlocks on PC. This is wonderful news as ‘master race’ loyalists will finally be able to explore the stunning wild west. However, prior to its launch, the developers have released an update version 1.14 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC is going to be special thanks to visual improvements, bonus content and the godsend ability to play with a mouse. Not to mention there’s also an exclusive photo mode that has more than irked some console players.
Yet, before we all don our cowboy hats once more to ride alongside Dutch Van Der Linde and his colourful posse of rogues, we may as well return to its origins to see what’s new with version 1.14 on PS4 and Xbox One.
Red Dead Redemption 2 version 1.14 patch notes for PS4 and Xbox One
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot to say about update version 1.14 for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 and Xbox One as the patch notes in the update history merely state the following:
Various Stability Fixes
Yes, you’re darn right, that is a whole load of nothing that could mean virtually anything.
All we can do from here on is speculate that the 3.2 GB update somehow corresponds to the release of the PC version.
Again it’s impossible to say how thanks to the tight lips of Rockstar, but maybe gamers will come across some changes and adjustments as they explore the beautiful landscape once more.
