Scott Brown scored a brace for Celtic at the weekend in the Scottish League Cup final.

Brown was having to play through the pain for Celtic at the start of the campaign, but the midfielder is now fully fit.
Brown has been one of Celtic’s best performers in recent weeks, with his displays seriously impressive.
The Scottish international scored twice for Celtic at the weekend, as Lennon’s side cruised past Hibernian in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
And Lennon said: “He’s incredible. I think he’s playing as well as ever. I look at Rangers away, Lazio, Sunday, Aberdeen away and other games.
“He had a little bit of a toe problem at the start of the season, that was curtailing him. But he’s over that now. He’s in a good place and the players respect him and look up to him.
“But he’s not in the team as a cheerleader. He’s in the team because he’s a bloody good player. And he keeps churning out consistent performances that we don’t take for granted.”

There were a few suggestions not too long ago that Brown may have been on the decline, with the Celtic captain linked with a move to America.
However, Brown has played a key role for Lennon’s men in recent times and proven that he still has so much to offer the Bhoys.
Celtic’s win over Hibs has set them up for a cup final clash with Rangers in December, where Brown’s tenacity is likely to be crucial to Lennon’s side once again.
