Arsenal boss Unai Emery's position at the Emirates Stadium is coming under increasing scrutiny.
There appears to be a growing feeling among Arsenal fans that Mikel Arteta could be a good appointment for them, as Unai Emery comes under more pressure.
Although Emery is not under an immediate danger of losing his job, the Arsenal boss knows that he needs to spark a dramatic improvement sooner rather than later at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta is said to be on Arsenal’s radar, and there are a number of Gunners fans who want the Spaniard in charge already.
Although Arteta has no managerial experience, he is currently working as Pep Guardiola’s number two at Manchester City, and is regarded as a brilliant coach.
Arteta has linked with Arsenal from his playing days, after he represented the North London club.
And some Arsenal fans are keen to see the Spaniard put in charge immediately, as they ask for a change of manager.

Emery's time has taught us clear communication, ability to inspire and man management are absolutely vital and City's players are united in their praise of Arteta.

Poch's endorsement is beyond glowing and paints him as a serious, intelligent man with deep tactical understanding.
Would love us to appoint Arteta, I think I was one of the only ones who wanted him last time.

Out of the ones we can approach without buying them out I'd take Arteta in a heartbeat.
Clearly a footballing visionary https://t.co/FfZEiKZp9R
If Arteta was to arrive at Arsenal it would be a risk, but it could help to unite an increasingly frustrated fan base.
There are serious questions over whether Emery has improved Arsenal since taking over Arsene Wenger, with many of their long-term problems still existing.
Arsenal are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, but they are already six points behind the top four, after a disappointing start to the campaign.
