With more talent aboard, season 2 has all the potential to surpass the first.
It's finally back!
There have been a great number of TV series to arrive in the last few years to receive overwhelming praise, but The End of the F***ing World stands out as one of the more unexpected hits.
It's not exactly an easy sell for some, by any stretch of the imagination. Essentially, it perfectly encapsulates what we love about dark-comedy, but as you'll know, dark-comedy is far from everybody's cup of tea - and this tea is incredibly light on the milk.
Written by Charlie Covell, the series is an adaptation of Charles Forsman's graphic novel of the same name and it quickly introduced us to a 17-year-old psycho named James (played by Alex Lawther) who meets Alyssa (Jessica Barden), trying to escape her life at home in season 1. The pair make for intriguing companions, and following them on their journey becomes strangely addictive as the season progresses.

We've been waiting for ages now to reunite with the odd couple, but the wait is over.
The End of the F***ing World returns to screens on Monday, November 4th 2019 for season 2, and with it we have some new characters coming to the forefront.
Most importantly we have the arrival of Bonnie, played by 27-year-old British actress Naomi Ackie. She's sure to become a bonafide fan-favourite by the time season 2 concludes with its eighth episode. However, many of you may recognise her; can't put your finger on it? Well, let's talk roles...

Naomi Ackie: Previous roles
As highlighted on her IMDb page, the BIFA-winning actress - she won Best newcomer in 2017 - has appeared across a range of exciting projects over the years.

On the other hand, she's better known for her film work, which includes 2016's criminally underrated Lady Macbeth (Anna), Yardie (Mona) and The Corrupted (Grace). Her role in The End of the F***ing World is set to be her biggest to date, but that doesn't mean 2019 doesn't have some significant surprises in store...
