The release times for when Red Dead Redemption 2 unlocks, launches and goes live on PC.

While before the revealed release times for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC were courtesy of another source, Rockstar Games have now confirmed themselves via Twitter that the game unlocks, launches and goes live at 05:00 PT, 08:00 ET and 13:00 GMT.

Again the preload size is said to be roughly 110 GB, but the Epic Games Store recommends 150 GB.

Original story:

Red Dead Redemption 2 was already a magnum opus for Rockstar Games last year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but on PC it's poised to be even better thanks to mouse control, superior visuals and bonus content. We know you're just itching to play the game as soon as possible, and its supposed launch, unlock and releases times have been shared online.

PS4 and Xbox One fans aren't happy about Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC having exclusive features such as a new photo mode, but those on the 'master race' won't care as they've had to wait a year to experience the best open-world video game alongside The Witcher 3.

When can I play Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC?

Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC are said to be 05:00 PT, 08:00 ET and 13:00 GMT on November 5th.

This means Red Dead Redemption 2 won't be playable on PC until 02:00 on November 6th in New Zealand.

All of the above comes from Game Debate who claim to have received the information from Rockstar Games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC preload and download size

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available to preload on the Rockstar Games Launcher and you can still pre-purchase it from the Epic Games Store to be given 25 Gold Bars.

Rockstar's magnum opus will also arrive on Steam, but it'll come fashionably late sometime in December.

As for the download size, the base version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is said to clock in at around 110 GB per its preload size. However, the Epic Games Store's minimum and recommended system requirements suggest 150 GB. Either way the size is likely to become even bigger in the future as Rockstar implements further updates for their online portion.
