Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: How to easily do finishing moves

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare How To Do Finishing Moves

How to perform finishing moves in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare has been out for a few days now and update 1.05 has just been released to - hopefully - address issues with the game crashing across all platforms. If this hasn't been an issue for you and you simply want to know how to perform finishing moves to complete challenges or for the simple satisfaction, then simply keep reading.

Infinity Ward's Call Of Duty Modern Warfare has beaten the release sales of Black Ops 4 in its first week on the market, with the PlayStation 4 boasting a higher percentage compared to the Xbox One likely thanks to Spec Ops' Survival mode being a Sony exclusive until basically the next Call Of Duty instalment arrives.

The 2019 rebirth of Modern Warfare has been praised for its single-player campaign and typically fun multiplayer modes, and another of its most satisfying aspects is its finishing moves.

What are finishing moves/executions in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare?

Finishing moves in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare are one-hit melee executions. They trigger an oh-so-satisfying third-person animation where your character knives enemies to their death either through the ribs, gut or pretty much anywhere.

How to perform finishing moves in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare

To perform a finishing move in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare you must first sneak up behind a foe.

Once you're in the stranger danger position, you must then hold the melee button to perform the John Wick-esque execution.

Although the animations are ridiculously brutal and hence fun, there is an element of risk as they do take a while to start. This means you have to be picky when choosing to perform a finishing move as Call Of Duty isn't like the movies where stunt men wait their turn to attack.

So, if the enemy turns around while you're hoping to perform a melee execution, you can simply tap the melee button to pull off a basic and swift swing of your knife or gun.

The Dead Silence perk is also now helpful for completing finishing moves following update 1.05.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
